Description of talk:

Learn how to work with agents, managers, attorneys and publishing house editors. Ideally they will be a creative team that will promote you and your work. Learn about contracts. Have a manuscript ready to be sold. Books that have a popular following prior to being made into a film or television show tend to do better. Take acting and directing classes to better understand how to translate a book into a visual medium. We will discuss the importance of sales, attachments, critical reviews, packaging, networking and how to launch yourself.
